At Our Lady’s Bower the prime mission is to ensure that every student will reach her full potential
The guidance counsellor ensures that from her early days in the school students are advised on third level entry requirements. Students who may be experiencing personal difficulties may also avail of counselling on a confidential basis.

The Sunday Times, 30th August 2015, identified Our Lady’s Bower as the top feeder school (non-fee paying) outside of Dublin to universities with 98.9% of the girls from the 2015 class in third level.

Our Lady’s Bower ranked in the top 50 schools out of 400, the only Westmeath school to make the top 50.

Over 10% of the girls in the class of 2015 were awarded scholarships to Irish universities.
