At Our Lady’s Bower the prime mission is to ensure that every student will reach her full potential
The guidance counsellor ensures that from her early days in the school students are advised on third level entry requirements. Students who may be experiencing personal difficulties may also avail of counselling on a confidential basis.

The Sunday Times, 28th August 2016, identified Our Lady’s Bower as a top feeder school (non-fee paying) outside of Dublin to universities with 97.9% of the girls from the 2016 class in third level.

Our Lady’s Bower ranked in the top 50 schools out of 400, the only Westmeath school to make the top 50.

10% of the girls in the class of 2016 were awarded scholarships to Irish universities.
