Boarding School

We welcome you to Our Lady's Bower Boarding School where every encouragement is given to every girl to become the best possible person she is capable of becoming.

Our school is both residential and day.  Boarding students are accepted from the age of 12 and the school has accommodation for 130 girls.  If you have applied for a place for your daughter or wish to make enquiries you are very welcome to visit the school by appointment.

Girls are expected to leave school and return to school on the official dates fixed for the beginning and the end of each term.  Our Lady'sBower is a five day boarding school.  Host families are available in Athlone to accommodate overseas students at weekends.

Places in our boarding school are booked well in advance.  Parents are advised to make enquiries long before their daughter reaches secondary school age.  At present booking is essential at least 2 years in advance.
