Well done to Katie Rock and Amy Allen who appeared on last Friday’s Ireland AM on TV3 modelling their designs from last year’s final of the Junk Kouture competition. The aim of the competition is to fashion a gown from unlikely materials, which would otherwise be binned. The current TY students are busy designing outfits from seaweed, shells, coffee pods, exam papers, orange peel and feathers, and are looking forward to the regional finals in March.
