Congratulations to 6th Year Aoife Temple, who was chosen to represent the Leinster side in this year’s Lidl Ireland Post Primary Schools Inter Provincial Tournament, held at Coralstown/Kinnegad GAA Club on Saturday, January 19th. This was a great achievement for Aoife and it recognised the hard work she has put into her game, for both her club (Athlone) and school over the years. Aoife and her Leinster teammates had been hard at work since December in preparation for the event and the squad received their kit at a special presentation on Saturday, January 12th from Leinster President, Dominic Leech. A rain-soaked Kinnegad saw Aoife and the Leinster squad win the shield, as they overcame the Connaught side. Well done to all who made the side. The event showed great teamwork and the players were a credit to all their schools.
