Last year’s school musical production ‘All Shook Up’ has reached the national finals of the Bord Gáis Student Theatre Awards in the category ‘Best Musical Number’ The girls are invited to attend the national awards in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on 5 May for an Oscars style event where they face two other schools in this category, from Malahide and from Killaloe in Clare. The judging panel will include actress Amy Huberman, author Sarah Webb and playwright Marina Carr. This is the second consecutive year the Bower has been selected for the awards. Well done to the cast and director Ashling Withers. We’ ll keep our fingers crossed!
