Our Lady’s Bower would like to express congratulations to past pupil Natasha Maimba (Class of 2019), who was recently appointed to the position of UN Youth Delegate by Tánaiste Michéal Martin. In her new role, Natasha will work closely alongside the Department of Foreign Affairs, Irish Aid and the National Youth Council of Ireland to ensure the young people of Ireland are represented in UN policymaking decisions.
Natasha is no stranger to advocacy. She was Head Girl of Our Lady’s Bower during the academic year 2018/2019, during which, she passionately and valiantly led the school’s Student Council in a number of exciting initiatives aimed at cultivating a strong culture of acceptance and inclusion within the school community. Natasha has also been serving as a Youth Ambassador with UNICEF Ireland since she was a first year student in Our Lady’s Bower.
All at Our Lady’s Bower are extremely proud of Natasha and wish her the very best of luck as she begins her new position with the United Nations.
