Congratulations to the Bower girls who completed at the Irish Dancing World Championships at the INEC Arena, Killarney in November.

5th Year Hannah Lennon competed in the U17 competition, dancing in the light reel, heavy hornpipe – in which she came 4th and set dance – in which she came 3rd. She came 25th in her overall.

3rd Year Megan Flynn Kelly competed against 151 other competitors in her category.  She got 3 solo recalls in her slip jig – in which she came 7th, hornpipe – in which she came 8th  and set dance. She came 41st in her overall.

A special word of congratulations also to past student Jessica Rogers who was crowned Senior Ladies World Champion at the event.

Well done to each of the girls for the dedication they show to their sport and to their dance teachers, Christina Concannon and Dairine Ganley at the Ganley School of Irish Dancing and The Reynolds Academy of Irish Dancing.
