This year the Irish department organised a competition for all first years, asking them to design a Christmas card as gaeilge. The results were announced on Thursday, 18 December at assembly and all finalists received a certificate for their efforts. The cards, which are all of a very high standard, are on display in the first year area. Well done to all finalists but especially to the top five:
