On Monday evening, 21 December, choir, orchestra and readers gathered in the central area to hold a prayer and carol service for all Bower families. It was a very impressive service which reflected the peace and calm of this time of year.
Those present enjoyed old favourites such as O Holy Night, Silent Night and Winter Song with choir and orchestra taking turns to perform. Twins Kate and Amy Benson were excellent as co-hosts for the evening. It was very heartening to see so many first years involved in both choir and orchestra.
Many thanks to all involved in organising the service – Ms Griffiths, Ms McNelis, Ms Hopkins, Gerry Lacey and of course Fr Baxter and the girls themselves.
The service was followed by finger food and mince pies courtesy of our new catering team.
