On Tuesday evening, 20 December, choir, orchestra and readers gathered in the central area to hold a prayer and carol service for all Bower families. It was a very impressive service which reflected the peace and calm of this time of year.
Those present enjoyed old favourites such as Joy to the World, Walking in the Air and Jingle Bell Rock from the choir and the orchestra playing favourites such as the theme from Star Wars and The Lion King. Head girls Saoirse Mulvihill and Aisling Benson were excellent as co-hosts for the evening. It was very heartening to see so many first years involved in both choir and orchestra.
