This year’s Cupcake Final took place on 17 November with four second years and six first years competing for the honour. The event was judged by Anne Beades and retired staff member Mary Burke who was full of praise for all of the girls’ efforts.
The competition was won by Rebecca Collins with her Cupcake Garden, Chloe O’Rourke Harris was second with Hickory, Dickory, Dock and Róisín O’Neill was third with her Beehive Cupcakes. A special prize was awarded to Grace Delaney for her magical Fairy Cakes.
Aoife McDermott, Alanna Ni Chuinneagáin, Ciara Fallon, Lucy Denby and Eimear and Liadh Nic Ghiolla Phadraig also made it to the final and received a small token for their tasty efforts.
