A team from Our Lady’s Bower competed in a European Council debate in Dublin Castle on 4 March. Niamh Maher, Cathy Greene and Caroline Kinsella debated the future of hydraulic fracturing in the EU along with 27 other schools, each representing a member state of the Council. The Bower team ably presented the Portuguese point of view and enjoyed the cut and thrust of political debate.
