Congratulations to Transition Year students Anna McCourt, Aisling Eager, Ruth Cummins, Aya Qaiyas and Leah Durkan who were all selected to participate in the DCU Early University Entrance Programme. This prestigious programme provides talented youth with the opportunity to attend DCU university classes, in order to gain valuable insights into potential future areas of study. The girls were selected for the programme based off their academic achievements to date, as well as a rigorous application process. Over the course of the academic year, the girls will spend one day per week attending University classes at Dublin City University, specialising in areas such as medicine, psychology, business and international relations. Our Lady’s Bower is extremely proud of Anna, Aisling, Ruth, Aya and Leah, whose achievements are a testament to their enthusiasm towards, and dedication to, their academic pursuits. Best of luck to the girls with their university studies!
