Congratulations to the four students who have qualified for the national final of the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge 2017. Aishling McCarthy, Lauryn Blair, Isabelle Clarke and Maebh Donovan all participated in the initial round held in the school in November and were chosen to compete in the final in Maynooth College on 22 April as part of Technology Week.
This All Ireland problem-solving challenge with a focus on computational and logical thinking, is designed to get Irish students at a young age excited about computing. It also aims to identify and encourage students having a talent in the area of computational thinking. The questions were in the form of engaging puzzles, related to computer programming.
