Two TY students have been chosen to represent the school at the Irish Junior Science Olympiad 2011. To qualify, students must have a minimum of 6 As in Higher Level papers in the Junior Cert, (which must include science and maths) and be under 16 on the 1st of January 2012. Mary Diffley and Aiveen Digby will attend the selection process on Saturday, November 5 in DCU. All participants will receive a certificate, while top performing students will receive medals and an opportunity to compete in the International Junior Science Olympiad in Durban, South Africa in December.
