Congratulations to the class of 2017 on their exceptional Leaving Cert results, especially to Lauren Hughes who was one of only sixty three students nationwide to score 7 A1s or 625 points – a fitting reward for all her hard work!
Lauren intends to study to be an actuary in UCD.
Her class mates didn’t do too badly either! Aisling Benson and Nuala Commins scored 613 points while almost 40% of the class scored 400 points or more.
The majority of the girls were offered their first choice course and are looking forward to the next challenge. We are very proud of their success and hope that they will always be proud to be Bower girls.
The girls celebrated the end of secondary school at the grad ball in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on Tuesday, 29 August. Many thanks to Paddy McCaul and his staff for an excellent night.
