Congratulations to past pupil Niamh McGann of the Leaving Cert Class of 2020 who was welcomed into the UCD Ad Astra Academy as an Academic Scholar during an awards ceremony on March 1st. Niamh was awarded this honour as a result of her exceptional academic performance in her first year at UCD. Director of the Academy, Prof. Barbara Dooley highlighted that the Academy is an environment where students with exceptional ability, creativity and drive are motivated, challenged and inspired.
Niamh who is now in 2nd year Social Science was always a dedicated and focused student during her six years in Our Lady’s Bower. The school community is very proud of her achievement and wish her continued success in her undergraduate studies.
