Congratulations to fifth year Sarah Kilmartin who represented Athlone at the Special Olympics time trials in swimming held in Leisureland, Galway on 24 April. Sarah was 1st in the 50m backstroke and 2nd in the 50m frontcrawl, an achievement that earned her great praise from Patricia Cleary, President of Connacht Swimming.
Congratulations to Aibhlin Clabby, Olwyn Sheridan, Sophie Lowe, Maedbh Hurst, and Niamh McNamara who were selected for the Connacht Interpro Schools’ swimming squad 2013.
