Our Lady’s Bower is delighted to have maintained our unbroken record as the top feeder school from the region to 3rd level institutions, a title which the school has consistently claimed for a long number of years.
100% of students from the Leaving Certificate Class of 2023 at Our Lady’s Bower secured a place in a 3rd level course of their choosing. This impressive statistic is shared by only a handful of other secondary schools across the country. Notably, three out of the four top schools in Westmeath were single-sex schools.
Principal Anne Beades stated that the continued academic success of Our Lady’s Bower is undoubtedly a result of the wonderful rapport that can be felt between staff and students, as well as the consistent hard work, expertise and dedication of the school’s teaching staff, who go above and beyond to ensure that each and every student in the school goes on to achieve their optimum potential, both inside and outside of the classroom.
