The sixth year team of Emma Haran, Eva Barry and Therese Heelan were the winners of the 2016 Athlone Community Radio Irish quiz. The event was held in the ACR offices on Tuesday, 23 February and featured teams from local secondary schools.
The girls received a handmade trophy for the Bower as well as certificates and Eason vouchers. They were mentored by Irish teacher Úna Dolan.
