Three Transition year students have been invited to train for the Irish EU Science Olympiad and the Irish Junior Science Olympiad, with the further possibility of representing Ireland internationally. The girls, Annette Benson, Rachel Bowe and Ellen O’Rourke, were selected by the director of the programme based on their outstanding results in Maths and Science in the Junior Cert exam.
