On Tuesday 19th December the annual Christmas Carol Service at Our Lady’s Bower took place. Students, staff and parents all came together on the evening to enjoy the event. The audience was treated to an evening of prayer, musical talent and Christmas cheer, including performances from the school choir, traditional music group, orchestra and ukulele club.
Many thanks to all of the singers and musicians who took part in the service, as well as those who delivered prayers on the evening. Thanks in particular to choir director, Ms Hopkins, organist, Ms Shine, traditional music group and ukulele club coordinator, Ms Rooney and orchestra conductor, Paul Hensey for all of their hard work in preparing the students for the event. Thanks also to the religion department of Ms Quinn, Ms Giblin, Mr Fitzgerald, Ms Moloney and Ms Grogan for coordinating the prayer service.
The evening proved a wonderful success in igniting a strong festive cheer among spectators, and encouraging everyone to reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas.
